Are all the products Curly Girl Method friendly?
Yes! All our products are curly girl friendly, which means that you don’t need to check the ingredients to see if there are any silicones, drying alcohol or sulfates… We only want the best for your hair!
Can I buy products without subscribing?
Absolutely! In addition to our Curly subscription boxes, we offer a selection of individual products and bundles that you can purchase directly from our website.
Do you offer gift options?
Yes! You can purchase a gift subscription or individual products as a gift. Simply select the “Gift” option at checkout, and you can include a personalized message.
Subscription
What’s included in the subscription membership?
As a subscriber, you’ll receive a monthly mailer packed with 4-5 trial-sized hair products tailored to your hair needs. Expect a mix of new discoveries and recurring best-sellers that our customers love, ensuring you always have something exciting to try!
What subscription plans do you offer?
We offer three flexible subscription plans:
- Monthly Plan: €34/month, billed monthly.
- Quarterly Plan: €90 every 3 months (save €12).
- Yearly Plan: €336 annually (save €72).
All plans include monthly deliveries, shipped directly to your doorstep.
When are boxes shipped?
Boxes are shipped between the 10th and 15th of each month. If you subscribe after the cut-off date (the 20th), your first box will be included in the following month’s shipment.
How often and when will I be charged?
Monthly Subscribers
Your first payment is processed at the time of sign-up. After that, recurring payments will be charged on the 1st of each month for the duration of your subscription.
Yearly Subscribers
The full annual fee is charged upon signing up, with automatic renewal occurring on the same date each year.
Quarterly Subscribers
Your initial payment covers the first three months. Moving forward, payments will be processed every three months on the same date as your sign-up.
What is the cut-off date for subscribing?
The cut-off date is the 20th of each month.
- Subscribe before the 20th: You’ll receive the current month’s box.
- Subscribe on or after the 21st: Your first box will be the next month’s box.
For example, if you subscribe on December 19th, you’ll receive the December box. If you subscribe on December 21st, your first box will be the January box.
Can I skip a box or pause my subscription?
Yes, you can skip a box or pause your subscription directly from your customer account. Just log in to your account and select the “Manage Subscription” option.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Absolutely! You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account. However, cancellations made after the 10th of the month will apply to the following subscription cycle, as the current box will already be in processing.
What happens if my payment fails?
If your payment fails, we’ll retry the charge up to 4 times over 10 days. You’ll receive email notifications after each failed attempt with instructions on how to update your payment method. If the issue isn’t resolved after the retries, your subscription will be paused.
Can I gift a subscription?
Yes! You can gift a subscription to someone special. Just select the “Gift Subscription” option at checkout, and you’ll be able to add a personalized gift message.
Can I customise my box?
Our boxes are pre-curated each month to surprise and delight you with a selection of high-quality curly hair products. Customisation isn’t available, but we carefully choose products to cater to a variety of curl types and needs!
Payments
What payment methods do you accept?
We offer a variety of payment options for your convenience:
- Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
- PayPal: For secure and quick transactions.
- Klarna: Flexible payment options, including "Pay Later" and installments (availability depends on your location).

Can I change my payment method?
Yes! You can update your payment method at any time. Simply log in to your account, go to the "Payment Methods" section, and add or edit your details.
When will I be charged for my Curl Box subscription?
Curl Box Subscription charges depend on the plan you choose:
- Monthly Plan: Charged on the 1st of every month after your initial payment.
- Quarterly Plan: Charged every 3 months on the 1st of the renewal month.
- Yearly Plan: Charged once per year on your subscription anniversary.
For new subscribers, the first payment is made immediately upon signup.
How do refunds work?
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to process, depending on your bank.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes, Klarna allows you to split your payments into installments (subject to approval). This is a great option for larger purchases or subscriptions.
Shipping
Where do you ship to?
We ship worldwide!
- Monthly subscription boxes: Shipping is free and only available to Ireland and the UK.
- Other products, bundles, and curly boxes: Shipping is available globally, but customers are responsible for shipping fees.
We’re constantly striving to negotiate better rates with courier companies to offer you the best shipping prices possible.
How do I track my order?
Once your order is shipped, you’ll receive an email with your tracking details. You can also find the tracking information in your customer portal under "My Orders."
What happens if my order is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit?
If your order is lost, stolen, or damaged during transit, we’re here to help! Here’s how we handle these situations:
1. Damaged Orders:
Please provide us with proof of the damage (clear photos of the damaged items and packaging).
Once verified, we’ll send a replacement package at no additional cost.
2. Lost or Stolen Orders:
- For lost packages, we recommend waiting 7–10 business days after the estimated delivery date before contacting us, as delays can occur.
- For stolen packages, we encourage you to file a report with your local courier or police. We may assist in investigating with the courier but cannot guarantee a replacement in all cases.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping times vary depending on your location:
- Ireland and the UK: 1–2 business days.
- Rest of the World: 7–21 business days.
You’ll receive tracking information to monitor your package’s journey.
Do you charge customs or duties?
For international orders, customs fees or import duties may apply depending on your country’s regulations. These fees are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the shipping cost.
Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?
Yes, but only if your order hasn’t been processed yet. You can do that by login on your customer portal, or by contacting us at info@happycurlsco.com
